About
Hm. Who am I? Well, I’m me.
As vague as it is I believe that may be the only way to answer that question without going into extreme detail. So if you’re just that bored, here’s the extreme details!
My name is Cody, and I’m 17. I’m a tad bit of a perfectionist, and that has its up sides and down sides. I’m going to be a senior in high school when school starts up again around August 11th or so. After high school, my dream would be to get into Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) and major in Interactive Design and Game Development.
I love video games. I think they’re great, and they help alleviate stress in so many ways. I’ve taught at a summer camp for the past 5-6ish years, and I’ve taught kids how to make video games. Very simple, easy-to-make video games, but video games none-the-less. I have a feeling one of the main themes of my blog will be about video games: which I recommend, reviews, whatever. Another theme of this blog will probably be…
MUSIC!! I love music. I honestly don’t think I’d be able to survive without music in my life. I’m very open minded in my musical taste, however I believe my favorite types of music are indie, emo, ska, rock, classic rock, and metal (on occasion). Classical music has such a unique property to it… it essentially tells a story. I don’t often listen to classical music, but the works of Mozart, Vivaldi, and all other classical composers are of pure genius. Currently, my favorite bands are The Hush Sound, The Spill Canvas, and Cobra Starship.
I can play music, too! I’ve been playing the guitar for a little over a year now, and I love it. I played the violin for four years prior to my getting a guitar. Playing the violin is what taught me how to read music, and it taught me how to catch and keep a beat in pretty much any song.
I’m a remarkably deep thinker. I contemplate the future, life after death, and I get kind of depressed if I over analyze… which probably happens more than it should. I try to stay away from thinking that deeply, and try to distract myself with T.V. and my friends when those kinds of thoughts arise.
I’m currently single… but I’m not really looking. Well, let me rephrase that. I’m waiting for someone that actually interests me to come into my life. I’m not scouring the internet for a cheap date.
I love art. Going into a museum and looking at the works of people from hundreds of years ago fasinates me. Seeing how art has changed over the years is something that’s just so unique and great.
Anyways, that’s me! Hahaha. If you’ve made it this far I’ll give you a hug or something when/if I see you.
