You know what’s interesting about the way [Titanic] plays: you’re two hours into the movie before you hit the iceberg. Most movies, the credits have run and you’re back at the car at the two hour mark. So, it’s been a whole other movie not about a ship sinking, up until that point. And it’s all sustained by the knowledge that you have in the back of your mind that the ship is going to sink and that world is going to end. And that’s how we live our lives. We live our lives enjoying the moment and not thinking about the future. But way in the back of our minds, we know it’s gonna end.
